2012 - a year in review

News GEOFFREY Rush was named Australian of the Year and Queen Elizabeth marked her 60th anniversary of becoming monarch in a year with plenty of news in 2012.

News QUEENSLAND experienced a year of highs and lows, starting with a landslide win to Campbell Newman and finishing with the sad farewell of Daniel Morcombe.
