1. Slow Food Noosa Snail Trail

When: 14 May, 8:30am-5.30pm

This memorable trail departs from Noosa Heads and starts with a behind the scenes tour of Belmondos Organic Market. It is then on to the Noosa Community Gardens where you will meet some local schoolchildren discussing their School Kitchen Gardens. From here you will be taken on a delightful journey to Forage Farms for a farm tour before arriving at Hinterland Restaurant at Cooran for a delicious three-course lunch with locally sourced ingredients paired with local wines. A short stroll then takes you to nearby Bonsai Brewery for a beer tasting. To cap this all off the final stop with be at Amrita Park Meadery for an exquisite mead tasting.

Gin lovers, prepare to have your tastebuds tantalised! Held over two hours, you’ll kick off the afternoon with a gin and tonic in hand and learn how this incredible distillery came to be from Head Distiller, Jack Boyd on a private distillery tour. Finish the afternoon by creating your very own unique gin using local botanicals to celebrate and reminisce about your unforgettable Noosa experience.

Crowd favourites George Calombaris and Miguel Maestre are heading north to Noosa for a floating cocktail party aboard The Catalina Noosa. A testament to the Mediterranean’s best and Noosa’s coastal charm, the boys will be bringing you a menu of small bites, summer tapas and simple, fresh seafood dishes. A couple of beachside chic cocktails from the Liquor 43 team will be on hand too as you cruise the Noosa River taking in the salty air and live DJ beats. This is one cocktail party not to be missed, as you round up your fellow Mediterranean lovers and kick off the festival weekend in style.

The Long Boat is a floating vessel of powerful and fresh Thai and modern Asian flavours combined with Dog Point Wines, water views, exceptional Noosa hospitality and a large dose of fun thrown in for good measure! Mix that with four talented Queensland chefs – Ben Bertie (Long-time / Same Same) Louis Tikaram (Stanley), Shane Bailey (Noosa Boathouse) and local Chef and entrepreneur Nathan Nichol – and you’ve got one of the most sought after lunches this festival! Ben, Louis, Shane and Nathan will come together to create a menu featuring local produce and the best seafood and beef Queensland has to offer.

Whisky Boy is joining forces with Heads of Noosa Brewing Co for The Boilermaker. Co-hosted with Brown Foreman, producer and marketer of some of the most well-known wine and spirit brands in the world, the evening will include a lively beer cocktail on arrival, followed by a four-course dinner matched with four different lagers and four different whiskies.

This is an event not to be missed, with like-minded professionals showcasing just what can be done with sustainable, local and unprocessed ingredients. Tuck into locally sourced goods including 10 Acres Bread baked with Copperhead’s own spent grain, Gympie Cheeses & Butter, Gympie farm produce from Farmer and Sun and locally sourced meat.

This delicious feast will be matched with preservative free beer made with 100% natural ingredients. Then it’s your chance to meet the chef and the brewer.
