Special concert in aid of hospice
SUNSHINE Coast musician and Davonski Concert Orchestra member Iain McLean has spent many hours organising a special fundraising concert for the Sunshine Hospice at Doonan on May 22.
The concert will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran hall at Noosaville from 1.30pm.
McLean has put together a broad range of music for the afternoon and has convinced the internationally known Esk Choir to make the journey to perform.
Solo violinist Touki Wood, accompanied by Tim Williams, will also be on stage and Woodford Folk Festival's laconic poet Ian McKay will add his quirky wit to the event.
"This hospice service is too important for the Sunshine Coast and we must do everything to support its reopening and provide our ongoing support when it does," McLean said.
