Rider in hospital after colliding with vehicle

A cyclist has been taken to a Coast hospital after they were injured in a vehicle and bicycle crash.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called to Gympie Tce in Noosaville about 6.30am on Tuesday.

The rider was believed to be a man but it was not confirmed by paramedics on scene.

They were taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
