Peter Greste to remain behind bars after trial adjourned
JAILED Australian Peter Greste will stay in an Egyptian prison after the trial of the Al Jazeera reporter was adjourned until May 3.
Prosecutors claim Greste and colleagues sought to malign the country's international reputation and had dealings with the Muslim Brotherhood group outlawed in Egypt.
The accused deny any wrongdoing.
Speaking from Toowoomba on Wednesday, brother Michael Greste told ABC he feared that justice would not be done.
"I've discovered you can't really use logical or reasoning with this whole case," he said.
"It may not make any difference.
"I do have a certain amount of fear they will find a conviction and he will serve a sentence.
Michael has only recently returned from Egypt, where he visited his brother.
