Man’s body found in remains of Caboolture house fire
FIREFIGHTERS are investigating what caused a house fire at Caboolture which claimed the life of a 42-year-old man.
Emergency services were called to the Rhoda St address at Caboolture South at 5.38am yesterday, and found the home well alight.
The blaze was brought under control by two fire crews by 8.30am, and the man's body was then found.

Neighbours said they did not hear or smell the fire, but woke to fire crews arriving at the house.
Eric Googe, who was staying with family at a house next door, told the ABC he did not know the man who died but saw him Saturday night.
"Waking up this morning we thought, 'my God, what is going on?'" he said.

"We sort of realised there's nothing we could do about it but we were just sort of hoping he wasn't in there."
Mr Googe took the dead man's mother inside to talk with police when she arrived at the scene.
"She was distraught - the police had obviously got in contact with her, she'd come up with her friend and she was really distraught, as you would be," he said.
"Police asked if we could take her inside and let them have a chat."
It took several hours for police to confirm a body had been found.

Senior Sergeant Alison Jewell said two people were thought to occupy the house.
Investigations into the cause of the man's death and the fire continued last night.
