Inclusion all about talent and Noosa has it
THE Noosa Tigers AFC are over the moon that Dylan Evans has been selected in the 2018 Queensland State Inclusion team.
The team will compete in the 2018 AFL National Inclusion carnival which will start on Monday, June 18, in Launceston, Tasmania.
The AFL National Inclusion Carnival brings together footballers with an intellectual disability from across Australia in a round-robin style carnival and aims to provide Australia's most talented footballers with disability the chance to represent their state or territory.
The team's first training session was on Sunday, May 20, at Leyshon Park, Yeronga. The carnival not only gives some of Australia's most talented footballers the chance to represent their state or territory, but it is also an opportunity to showcase the significant abilities of footballers with an intellectual disability to the broader community.
The carnival will see teams from across the country compete in a series of pool matches at venues such as the UTA Mowbray Oval, Youngtown Oval and the NTCA Ground.
The carnival includes an opening ceremony at University of Tasmania Stadium, with the finals set to be played as a
real showcase curtain-raiser to the Hawthorn versus Gold Coast Suns game on Saturday, June 23.
