Drug test to remove Bachie’s substance doubt
A drug test will confirm what substance former Bachelorette contestant Jess Glasgow was found in possession of after he claimed he didn't know what it was.
Lawyer Lachlan Ygoa-McKeown appeared in Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday for Mr Glasgow who was charged with possessing dangerous drugs.
Mr Ygoa-McKeown said Mr Glasgow's lawyers were awaiting results from a drug analysis.
Police prosecutor Alison Johnstone said the certificate, which would confirm the "nature of the drug" was due on November 27 and suggested the matters be adjourned.
Magistrate Matthew Mclaughlin granted another adjournment until December 1.
The matters were also adjourned on September 1 and again on September 8 after Mr Glasgow's lawyer Patrick Meehan said the Noosa councillor didn't know what the drug was.
Mr Meehan asked for the matter to be adjourned on September 8 so the drug could be tested.
On the same day Magistrate Chris Callaghan told the court the drug was identified as cocaine in the charge.
