WATCH: Crows outclass Saints on night of celebration
ADELAIDE has recorded its ninth win of the 2017 AFL season, a 57-point thumping of St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
The Crows led all the way in the 16.15 (111) to 7.12 (54) triumph in front of a crowd of 46,082.
Captain Taylor Walker, Tom Lynch and Josh Jenkins kicked three goals each for the hosts.
St Kilda's Koby Stevens kept Rory Sloane quiet with a wonderful tagging job, and Josh Bruce booted four goals in his first game back after being dropped, but otherwise the Saints had little to cheer.
The Crows are back on top of the table but will drop back to second if GWS defeats Carlton on Sunday.
The Saints trailed by 41 points at the main break after kicking just two goals for the half.
Sloane, who had only three touches in the first quarter, lacked impact but it didn't stop the Crows from booting six goals to one for a 29-point lead at quarter-time.
Jake Lever was strong in defence for the Crows, reading the play well and taking intercept marks to keep the Saints at bay.
It was a special night for the Crows, who had players from their history-making 1997 premiership side gathered for their 20-year anniversary.
