A GANG squad raid on a property near Pomona has netted more than 20 marijuana plants.

Sunshine Coast District Tactical Crime Squad officer-in-charge Wade Lee said officers from Taskforce Maxima, the Sunshine Coast gang squad and Pomona police searched a property on Pomona Kin Kin Rd at Pinbarren yesterday.

Acting Senior Sergeant Lee said 21 plants ranging in size between 1m and 2m were growing outside a home when the raid was conducted.

Officers also allegedly found a small quantity of ammunition as well as a small amount of amphetamine.

A 23-year-old man was charged with producing dangerous drugs, a 24-year-old man was charged with drug and ammunition possession and a 21-year-old man was charged with possessing a drug utensil.

They are due to appear in Noosa Magistrates Court on December 15.
