Car drives into home of long term Tewantin resident
A CAR has lost control and crashed into the home of a long term resident at Tewantin this morning.
A police spokesman said emergency crews were called to the scene at Poinciana Ave, Tewantin about 9.36am where a car had gone through the walls of the property.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said a man, who was driving the car at the time, was in a stable condition in hospital.
It's believed the car crashed into a van before it drove into the home.
The resident, a well known Tewantin woman named Olive Donaldson, was not in the home at the time as she was volunteering at a local information centre.
