Australia's Next Top Model will return to Foxtel next year
PRODUCTION has started on a new series of Australia's Next Top Model, which has been on hold since the tragic death of judge Charlotte Dawson.
Dawson, who passed away in February, will not be replaced in the new series, which will air on Foxtel next year.
Instead a series of guest judges will join host Jennifer Hawkins, judge Alex Perry and model mentor Didier Cohen.
"The whole team on the show has been deeply affected by the loss of Charlotte earlier this year," said Foxtel's Executive Director of Television Brian Walsh.
"We feel the series will never be the same without her and in 2015 we will welcome a special guest judge each week to join the judging panel as in our minds Charlotte is irreplaceable.
"This will give the girls on the show unique insight and varied guidance each week, while honouring the legacy of our friend Charlotte and remembering her commitment to this iconic series."
Auditions for the ninth series of the reality modeling show start in Newcastle on July 31.
