THE Floating Bridges will release its new single: Finer Things In Life. The band creates infectious roots music, blending together big lively ska grooves, thick bottom end bass lines and smooth four-part vocal harmonies.

4. Carols On Kings

TAKE a blanket or chair and head down to Kings Beach for a night to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Great local talent will perform all the favourite Christmas carols. Food and drinks are available, and the kids will love a visit from Santa and the fireworks as the finale.

ENTERTAINMENT includes Colin Buchanan, the local dance school and the Coast's Cassi Hilbers and Liam Kennedy Clark. The grounds will have a jumping castle, zorb balls and face painting, with a fireworks finale.

6. Christmas Boat Parade

Where: Spectators can find the best viewing points from The Wharf Mooloolaba, Penny Lane and La Balsa Park.

A CHRISTMAS highlight for Coast locals will light up the Mooloolaba canals and help raise funds for STEPS to create opportunities for people with disabilities. A large contingent of boat owners, their family and friends will deck out their vessels and canal homes with fairy lights and tinsel.

7. Nambour Christmas Tramfest

Where: Howard Street, Nambour

THE Nambour Christmas Tramfest is this year's big festive street party at the popular location on the tracks in Howard Street. The program will include Christmas favourites such as the lighting of the tree and a special visit from Santa with gifts for all the children. There will be plenty of entertainment for all ages, with free rides for the kids including Queensland's biggest slide, a jumping castle, climbing rock wall and the cup-and-saucer ride.

10. Carols In The Courtyard

THE Nambour Council courtyard will come alive with the sound of carols, storytime and craft activities. The Coast's cappella group Hot Ginger Chorus will be singing everyone's favourite Christmas carol classics. Children will be entertained with storytime around the sparkling community Christmas tree and they can even make their own decorations to take home to hang on their tree. Bookings are required via council's library website as light refreshments will be provided.
